I thought you might want to see the other side of the fifth wheel. We bought this camper about a year ago and one of our first outings was on Valentine’s Day weekend. So, we decided that maybe we could make it a tradition. We packed up our two dogs, Sandy and Shasta and put them in the back of our gorgeous Red Dodge Cummins Diesel 2500. We love to up to the lake. What is so ironic is that we live on Caballo Lake Drive in El Paso, however, there is no water here. So…we drive up to the real Caballo Lake to get away from it all for awhile.

On Valentine’s Day weekend, my husband and our two puppies went camping at Caballo Lake State Park in Southern New Mexico. It was a beautiful (although short) weekend. The weather cooperated and we were able to be outside most of the day.
Thanks to Debra for assistance with my blog February 23, 2010
I just wanted to thank Debra (Godzoned) for sending out the message about starting a blog on the Fiskateer’s website. I guess I now have my own blog. I am so excited! I am sure I have a lot of improvement, however, this is a start. Thank you again Debra. I am sitting here trying to stay awake and watching the Vancouver Olympics. The ice dancing is almost over and the Americans just rocked their ice dance. I am anxious to see what happens next and to see if the Americans can hold on to their lead. We shall see.
